I have always had an obsession with masks, especially the venetian one's. I have to admit that one of my regrets in life is having lived in Italy for 12 years and never visited Venice in February during the CARNEVALE period. Venice is my second favourite city in Italy after of course Florence!!!! I did go once to Venice for my birthday and came home with 5 or 6 masks..... not cheap!!!! Today I'm going to share with you some beautiful paintings that involve all kinds of masks.
